Introduction

The Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Management is a multidisciplinary program designed to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of the ways in which business structures, environmental processes and societal needs intersect. Corporations from across the country helped to develop the curriculum, believing in the value it will bring to their employees and their companies. The Sustainable Management program is a collaborative effort of UWExtension and four University of Wisconsin campuses: UW-Stout, UW-River Falls, UW-Superior, and UW-Parkside. It provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to create profitable businesses, vibrant communities, and a healthy environment. The program is a 21 course, 63-credit bachelor’s degree completion program designed for working professionals, with all courses delivered online.

Students who have completed the first two years of a bachelor’s degree, or have an associate’s degree, may apply directly to the program. Students who need to complete general education requirements may do so online through UW-Stout or the UW Colleges.
