LIT-230 American Cinema 3 cr. Literature, Contemporary Issues, Racial & Ethnic Studies Category B Repeatable for Credit: No A literary and cultural examination of American cinematic development. Special attention is given to the evolving depiction of non-dominant cultural groups and contemporary issues. Examination of these issues allows students to actively discover, assess, and execute the creative problem-solving needed to be fully engaged with contemporary issues. Prerequisite: take either ENGL-101 or ENGL-111
