PHOTO-130 Introduction to Still and Moving Image Photography (3 cr.) Repeatable for Credit: No Introduction to the basic visual grammar and critical-thinking skills of still and moving image photography. Cinematic, photographic and visual theory will be addressed, with an emphasis on aesthetics, technical processes, and paradigms of visual literacy. Students will explore concepts, processes and techniques that are applicable to many disciplines. A DSLR camera with full manual control in still and video capture modes is required. Open only to students in the following programs: B.F.A. Entertainment Design, B.F.A. Game Design and Development - Art, B.F.A. Graphic Design and Interactive Media, B.F.A. Interior Design, B.F.A. Industrial Design, B.F.A. Studio Art, B.S. Video Production, and Photography and Video Minor
