ECON-496 Economic Growth (3 cr.) Repeatable for Credit: No Development of the analytical tools used by economists to understand the determinants of increases in material well-being over time. Examination of questions regarding the importance of physical capital, education, health, technology and governmental policies in analyzing world-wide differences in production and economic growth. Focus on using real-world data to fit the analytical models to the modern world. Prerequisite: take ECON 210
