Essential concepts and techniques of video production technologies and their use. Students develop competency and foundational knowledge in the areas of camera systems, dynamic range and chroma sampling capabilities, lenses/optics, video acquisition formats/codecs/compression, video signal analysis, fundamental internal and external audio recording and mixing, video distribution platforms and file preparation.
