Second in a two-course sequence. Applies communication skills to personal, professional, and academic contexts. Practice in research, rhetoric, and inquiry. Development of critical reading, writing, and thinking. Improvement of written, digital, and visual composition skills and academic writing practices. Sustained writing assignments allow students to explore topics of humanistic inquiry.
Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in either ENGL 101 or ENGL 101HON or designated score on Wisconsin English Placement; Enrollment in the Honors College
