Project Management- Organizational Performance

 The Professional Development Certificate in Project Management-Organizational Performance is designed for returning adults with progressive career experience seeking advanced continuing education. This program builds technical skills and refines competencies in Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Framework, and Business Analysis Frameworks with hands on test preparation to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) examination. The fifteen-credit certificate program consists of five courses, delivered online and aligned to the Project Management Institute requirements to prepare for the CAPM examination. The Certificate in Project Management- Organizational Performance additionally targets mid-level management for advancement with specific courses in Training Systems and Professional and Technical Writing to accelerate management growth resulting in increased organizational performance.  

The prerequisite for admission to the Professional Development Certificate in Project Management-Organization Performance is composition (ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 or equivalent). Each student is required to consult with the program director (PD) of the Professional Development Certificate in Project Management-Organization Performance prior to registration for course work.  Applicants who are denied admission due to unmet prerequisites will be advised of alternative ways to qualify, such as test out options or taking the necessary pre-requisites prior to beginning the certificate. The prerequisite credits cannot be used as part of the 15 credits required for the certificate.
