History is the study of human experience. Historians push to understand the past on its terms, and to better recognize how and why events happen in the present day. A history minor pairs well with a wide variety of majors as students pursue a well-grounded education. Critical and practical skills developed through history education are in demand among employers and provide professional advantages.
