What is the meaning of life? What is justice? Does God exist? What is truth? These are profound questions of life. The Philosophy Minor engages you in thinking deeply about life through rigorous analysis of solutions to these questions and the nature of human existence and our world. The Philosophy Minor is an excellent choice for developing foundational skills in argument analysis, appreciation of diverse perspectives, close reading of texts, communication, creativity, problem-solving, and writing.

Note:

At least six credits in the minor must be taken at UW-Stout. A minimum grade of C is required for each course in the minor with an overall grade point average of 2.67.
