Suggested Four Year Program Plan

Total Program Credits: 120

An average of 15 credits per semester is required in order to complete the degree in four years. Never take more that three studios (ART, DES or GDD prefix in one semester).

Courses identified by an asterisk (*) are sequential and have prerequisite requirements. Taking these courses out of order may delay your graduation. See your advisor for details. Mid-Program Review is a requirement for graduation and will occur around Semester 5.

A grade of C (2.0) or better in all classes with an ART/ARTH/DES/GDD prefix is required for graduation, as well as a GPA of 2.5 or better in School of Art and Design courses and a 2.0 overall GPA.

Students will satisfy the Experiential Learning requirement by participating in the game design capstone experience (GDD 450 & 451). Additionally, Field Experience (or Co-op or Internship), International Study Abroad or Other, as approved in advance by the Program Director, may also satisfy this requirement.
