Instructional Design Certificate

Instructional design is the art and science of creating instruction for learners in a systematic manner that leads to maximum knowledge transfer. Students gain hands-on experience applying evidence-based design models, Universal Design for Learning principles, and iterative, data-informed processes. Graduates emerge ready to lead projects, collaborate effectively, and create inclusive, innovative, and ethical instructional solutions.

Required Courses (12 credits)


Completion of each course is the prerequisite for the next course. 

Each course is three semester hours graduate credit.

Successful completion with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in each course within the certificate course sequence is required for registration in the next class.
