This is a three course, 9-credit graduate certificate in Emergency and Disaster Management. The goals of the certificate are to provide essential knowledge and practical skills in emergency planning, disaster response, and organizational and community resilience. This certificate will provide important skills and competentcies for professionals in a wide variety of areas such as community planning and resiliency, property management, facility managers, risk control managers and first responder leadership. The certificate is aligned with some of the key requirements for the Associate Emergency Manager certification offered by the International Association of Emergency Managers.
