Institutional Research Certificate

The certificate in Institutional Research will provide students with skills in Institutional Research specific areas such as enrollment management, assessment, accountability, data management and strategic planning, as well as competencies in ethical considerations, project management, communication, data collection and analysis. An application course and practicum will provide focus on institutional research applications of concepts and processes. Courses and modules may be taken for professional development or credit toward the certificate. Courses may be taken for credit toward a UW-Stout degree program. Individual modules may be taken in any order, provided prerequisites are met, and are offered asynchronously. Full courses are offered on a semester schedule. In order to receive course credit toward the certificate or a degree all modules in the course must be completed; for example to receive credit for PSYC 720  modules A - K must be completed. All courses and modules are delivered online. Prerequisites: completion of a bachelor’s degree
