Studio Art Minor

Introduction

The Studio Art Minor provides a foundation in visual literacy and creative problem solving within the context of the fine art studio. Students analyze art in historical and cultural context and apply principles of art and design in the production of artworks. This minor equips students to be creative, reflective, visually astute, and culturally aware.
