MFT-733 Advanced Sex Therapy

Advanced overview of sex-related psychotherapy, ethical and professional communication practices, and biopsychosocial understandings of healthy and problematic sexual functioning, and interpersonal relationships. Areas covered include: theories, models, techniques, interventions, assessments, diagnosis and treatment of psychosexual disorders, and sex-related relational problems. Role-playing and case review are included in the course.
Prerequisite: Students in the MFT Program and/or enrolled in the Sex Therapy certificate program can take this course.
