Health, Wellness and Fitness, B.S. 4-year sequences:
Introduction
The Health, Wellness & Fitness program integrates the professional domains of science, wellness, health, fitness, nutrition, psychology and business to prepare specialists ready to manage clients’ well-being. Students find careers such as personal trainers, fitness experts, health and wellness coaches and other professional paths which focus on improving healthy lifestyles for clients. This program can also serve as a prerequisite undergraduate degree for those going on to graduate degrees in Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Physiology and Chiropractic. There is a minimum letter grade of C in all major and concentration courses.

Analytic Reasoning and Natural Sciences (10 credits)
Courses must be from the areas of analytic reasoning and natural sciences. At least one mathematics or statistics course and a natural science course with a lab are required.

Social Responsibility and Ethical Reasoning (3 credits)

Fitness Professional (16 credits)
Through advising, select electives courses to fulfill concentration. Examples include courses from areas such as nutrition, aging, adventure education, lifespan sports, racquet sports, psychology, rehabilitation and disability.
Health and Wellness Promotions (16 credits)
Through advising, select elective courses to fulfill concentration. Examples include courses from areas such as nutrition, aging, disability, leisure activities, psychology and rehabilitation.
