BIO-332 Genetics (3 cr.) Anaylitical Reasoning and Natural Sciences - Natural Science with Lab Repeatable for Credit: No Fundamental principles of genetics, from Mendel to the present; applications to plants, animals and humans. Laboratory reinforces principles studied in lecture and includes performance of genetic crosses, the cell, mitosis/meiosis, use of mathematical tools to analyze data, gene mapping, karyotyping, pedigree analysis, and the concepts of transformation/transduction. Prerequisites: take BIO 101 , BIO 135 , BIO 136 , BIO 242 , or BIO 252
